Previously, managing the huge amount of paper-based daily work reports generated at manufacturing sites and inputting the data required a huge amount of time. Not only was it time-consuming, but input errors during transcription were also a major concern.
The deciding factor in introducing i-Reporter is that it is easy to use even without special skills. You can create reports without programming and without spending a lot of time.

Furthermore, rather than being satisfied with simply being able to switch to digital, we requested that the system be more convenient and efficient than paper management. Specifically, we asked for features such as input by selecting from a list without using a keyboard, and automatic transition to the next item. When we first introduced it, there was some resistance from the field, but now, even among older employees, the overwhelming majority say that it is "more convenient and easier to use than paper." Digitization has automated the creation of daily reports, eliminating the need for a task that previously took 80 minutes.
